Matt Smit is a twenty-three year old writer and a
recent college grad. Influences in his writing
include Neil Gaiman and Joss Whedon, both of whom he
practically worships for their ability to combine
darker subject matter and storytelling styles with
snappy, lighthearted banter. His other storytelling
efforts are the main recurring feature on his
Livejournal. Strangely, it was *after* starting
work on Self Loathing that he almost became a private
eye.
Artist: Meghan Penton
Meghan is a nineteen-year-old artist from the southern United States. Besides comic drawing, she also enjoys writing, web design, and is currently working on her own Flash cartoon. Her influences are everything in life (but especially the art style of Venture Brothers) and someday she hopes to be a special effects artist. Self Loathing is her first serial web comic, but the rest of her work can be found at her Deviantart.
